Students of the University of Swat successfully completed a four-week internship at the Police Training School (PTS), Swat, gaining first-hand exposure to the physical and academic training of police recruits.
The internship included field visits, interactive lectures by police trainers and senior officers, and sessions by religious and motivational speakers. The initiative reflects the KP Police’s commitment to strengthening trust and bridging the gap between the police and society.
The concluding ceremony was attended by Registrar University of Swat, Dr Arshad Ali Khan, as Guest of Honour. He appreciated the RPO, DPO, PTS administration and all participating officers for providing the students with this valuable learning opportunity.
Students also demonstrated various physical activities and were awarded certificates upon successful completion of the internship.
SP Habibullah Khan, Director PTS Swat, praised the students for their discipline and enthusiasm and acknowledged the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qasim. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing and expanding this meaningful partnership in the future.
