Forestry Degree Program Earns NAEAC Accreditation

The Department of Agriculture Sciences and Forestry, University of Swat, has achieved a significant academic milestone as its Forestry degree program has successfully completed the accreditation process conducted by the National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC).

Following a comprehensive evaluation based on the Council’s prescribed accreditation standards, the NAEAC Accreditation Committee, after thorough deliberation, unanimously recommended the Forestry degree program for the “X3” accreditation category. The program secured 637 points out of a total of 980, achieving an overall score of 65 percent.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Department of Agriculture Sciences and Forestry conveyed his sincere gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Qasim, the Registrar, and the Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) for their continuous guidance, cooperation, and institutional support, which played a pivotal role in the successful completion of the accreditation process.
