Celebrating the Success of the University of Swat in HEC’s National Skill Competency Test (NSCT) 2026
The University of Swat proudly congratulates its dedicated faculty members, talented students, and committed administrative staff on the remarkable performance achieved in the Higher Education Commission (HEC) National Skill Competency Test (NSCT) 2026. Among the public-sector universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the University of Swat secured an impressive 8th position with an average score of 41.92, outperforming many well-established institutions across the province.
This achievement reflects the University’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, quality teaching, and continuous improvement in computing education. It is particularly encouraging that while HEC has temporarily suspended admissions in computing programmes of several universities for quality assurance review, the University of Swat is not included in the list of institutions under review, reaffirming the University’s adherence to quality standards and its continued eligibility to offer computing programmes.
The University administration extends heartfelt appreciation to every faculty member, student, and staff member whose dedication, hard work, and commitment have contributed to this success. We also express our sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qasim, Vice Chancellor, University of Swat, whose visionary leadership, emphasis on academic quality, and institutional reforms continue to steer the University towards excellence.
Together, we remain committed to strengthening the quality of higher education, enhancing students’ competencies, and producing graduates who are well-equipped to meet national and international challenges.
Congratulations to the entire University of Swat family on this commendable achievement!
