This year, World Environment Day 2026 is being observed under the theme:
“Climate Action – Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.”
In recognition of the significance of this day, the Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Swat, in collaboration with the Green Youth Movement (GYM) Club, is organizing an Awareness Walk followed by a Cleanliness Drive on the university campus on Monday, June 8, 2026.
The event will be graced by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qasim, and will commence at 10:30 AM in front of Academic Block-A and conclude at Academic Block-B.
