Islamabad, December 20, 2024 – Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, Vice Chancellor University of Swat, participated in the Vice Chancellors’ meeting of HESSA (Higher Education System Strengthening Activity) partner universities. The event, organized by USAID, was held at the Marriott Hotel, Islamabad, and brought together esteemed leaders of higher education institutions to discuss progress and strategic planning for the future.
The meeting focused on several critical topics, including:
  • Rolling Out the Year 4 Work Plan
  • Strategic Planning Initiatives: Next Steps
  • Updates on the HESSA-HEC Partnership, encompassing strategic planning, collaboration with NAHE, and the development of policy papers
  • Other key updates and insights
The gathering provided a platform for university leaders to review the progress of the HESSA project and deliberate on the approved work plan for Year 4. Emphasis was placed on advancing strategic planning efforts, enhancing policy dialogues, and finalizing university-level strategic plans to bolster higher education in Pakistan.
