Introduction
There are 10 Universities in Malakand Division. In view of the opportunities for natural cooperation among the universities of Malakand Division, there is a need for the establishment of a consortium of these universities. This Consortium (M-Varsities) will help universities regarding resource sharing, joint research, research collaboration, joint student supervision, inter-library book loans, organizing workshops and conferences, student & faculty exchange, sharing best practices, intellectual property rights policy, and innovation & commercialization.

The mission of the consortium is to foster inter-university collaboration across academic, research, and co-curricular domains; enhance the quality of education through shared resources, joint faculty development, and cross-institutional learning; contribute to the socioeconomic uplift of Malakand Division by aligning academic programs with regional needs; promote peace, harmony, and national integration through education and youth engagement; and engage stakeholders in a collaborative strategic planning process that prioritizes innovation and sustainability.
