The University of Swat, in collaboration with the Swat Forest Division and District Government Swat, conducted the Ehsaas-e-Shajar Plantation Drive at the University of Swat, Charbagh, on the eve of 23rd March.
The activity was part of a province-wide initiative directed by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to plant one million trees in connection with the 23rd March celebrations.
The plantation drive commenced on Monday (third day of Eid), March 23, 2026, at the main campus. The Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, graced the occasion and actively participated by planting a Deodar (Cedrus deodara) tree sapling.
The Assistant Commissioner Charbagh, along with officials from the Swat Forest Division, was also present on the occasion
