Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher represented the University of Swat at the Interdisciplinary Research Conference on One Health, organized by the University of Sargodha. The conference was graced by the presence of Chairman HEC, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, who attended as the chief guest.
The event focused on fostering interdisciplinary collaboration under the One Health approach, aiming to develop robust policy frameworks and promote capacity building through shared knowledge and expertise. It brought together a number of vice chancellors and a diverse group of national and international research scholars.
Key discussions centered around recent advancements in antimicrobial resistance and surveillance, strengthening stakeholder engagement across academia, industry, and government, and formulating sustainable strategies for improving public health and ensuring food security.
