


University of Swat and the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Swat today formalized a collaborative partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement aims to foster cooperation in forensic science education, research, and practical training, benefiting both students and law enforcement in the region.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Imtiaz Ali, Registrar of the University of Swat, and Mr. Shahid, Deputy Director of the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory CTD Swat, in a ceremony held at the University of Swat. Deans, faculty members, and students from the University of Swat were also in attendance.
“This MoU represents a significant step towards strengthening the collaboration between academia and law enforcement in the region,” said Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Swat. “By combining the academic resources of the University of Swat with the practical expertise of the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory CTD Swat, we can enhance the quality of forensic science education and contribute to the effective administration of justice.”
Mr. Shahid, Deputy Director of the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory CTD Swat, added, “This partnership will allow us to share our expertise and provide valuable training opportunities for students. We are confident that this collaboration will strengthen forensic capabilities in the region and contribute to a safer community.”
The University of Swat and the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory CTD Swat are committed to working together to achieve the objectives of the MoU and to contribute to the advancement of forensic science in Pakistan.
