


University of Swat and the Regional Blood Center Swat today formalized a collaborative partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement aims to foster cooperation in promoting blood donation awareness, organizing blood drives, and conducting joint research related to blood banking and transfusion medicine.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Imtiaz Ali, Registrar of the University of Swat, and Dr. Sultan Ahmad, Health Education Officer of the Regional Blood Center Swat, in a ceremony held at the University of Swat. Deans, Director ORIC, faculty members, and students from the University of Swat were also in attendance.
This partnership will facilitate: **organizing blood donation drives, promoting awareness, conducting joint research, and facilitating student training.**
“This MoU signifies our commitment to serving the community and fostering a culture of voluntary blood donation. By partnering with the Regional Blood Center Swat, we aim to contribute significantly to the availability of safe blood in the region,” said Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Swat.
“This collaboration is a vital step in strengthening our efforts to ensure a stable and safe blood supply. We are excited to work with the University of Swat to engage the student population and promote the life-saving act of blood donation,” said Dr. Muzammil, Manager, Regional Blood Center Swat.
The University of Swat and the Regional Blood Center Swat are committed to working together to achieve the objectives of the MoU and to contribute to the availability of safe blood and the advancement of blood banking services in the region.
