EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH AWARD CEREMONY HELD AT University of Swat
The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), University of Swat, organized an Excellence in Research Award Ceremony to recognize and honor outstanding faculty researchers.
Professor Dr. Hassan Sher, Vice Chancellor, University of Swat, graced the occasion as the chief guest and distributed awards and certificates among esteemed faculty members.
The ceremony was attended by Heads of Departments, Registrar, and Director ORIC.
Nine faculty members received Best Researcher certificates and shields for their remarkable contributions:
1. Dr. Muhammad Sohail (Institute of Chemical Sciences)
2. Dr. Fazal Akbar (Centre for Biotechnology and Microbiology)
3. Dr. Zahid Ullah (Centre for Plant Sciences and Biodiversity)
4. Dr. Lutfullah Saqib (Department of Law and Shariah)
5. Prof. Dr. Anwar Hussain (Department of Economics and Development Studies)
6. Dr. Faiz Muhammad (Mathematics and Statistics Department)
7. Dr. Muhammad Tariq (Centre for Management and Commerce)
8. Dr. Mufti Javed Khan (Department of Islamic and Arabic Studies)
The Best University-Level Researcher award went to Dr. Fazal Akbar (Centre for Biotechnology and Microbiology) for his exceptional research publications and projects completed during the evaluation period.
This ceremony aims to foster a culture of research excellence, encourage innovation, and recognize the achievements of University of Swat’s faculty members.
