پلانٹ سائنسز اور بائیو ڈائیورسٹی کے شعبے کے معروف محقق پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حسن شیر کو یونیورسٹی آف سوات کاوائس چانسلر مقررکرلیا گیاہے۔۔جمعہ کے روز چانسلر/گورنر خیبرپختونخوا نے وزیراعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا محمود خان کے مشورے سے ان کی تقرری کاباقاعدہ نوٹیفکیشن جاری کردیا۔پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حسن شیر ( سارک گولڈ میڈلسٹ) نے نوٹیفکیشن کے بعد عرصہ تین سال کے لئے وائس چانسلر کے عہدے کاچارج سنبھال لیا ہے۔ اس سے قبل وہ اسی یونیورسٹی کے پرو وائس چانسلر تھے اور دسمبر 2021 میں اپنے پیشرو کی مدت ملازمت کی تکمیل کے بعد یونیورسٹی آف سوات کی قیادت بھی کر رہے تھے جس کے دوران نہ صرف انہوں نے یونیورسٹی کا دوسرا کانوکیشن منعقد کیابلکہ قلیل مدت میں متعدد تدریسی شعبہ جات کو بھی یونیورسٹی کے ذاتی کیمپس میں منتقل کرکے کرایہ کی مد میں اٹھنے والے مالی اخراجات کم کرادئیے ہیں ۔

Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, a renowned researcher in the field of plant sciences and biodiversity, has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of the University of Swat here on Friday.
His appointment was made by the Chancellor/ Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the advice of the Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan.
Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, who is a SAARC Gold medalist, assumed the charge as the Vice Chancellor for a period of three years soon after the notification. Earlier, he was Pro-Vice Chancellor of the same university and has also been leading the University of Swat since the completion of his predecessor’s tenure in December, 2021.
