


Green Youth Movement (GYM) Club, University of Swat, Holds Oath-Taking Ceremony, Reaffirms Commitment to Environmental Conservation
The Green Youth Movement (GYM) Club, students of the various departments of the University of Swat,held an oath-taking ceremony today, solidifying their dedication to protecting the planet and promoting sustainable living.
The ceremony, attended by the GYM Club members, Focal Person Youth Development Centre, Additional Provost and Oversight Committee Members of the Green Youth Movement Club. marked a significant milestone in the club’s journey towards creating a greener future. The Chief Guest of the event was Prof. Dr. Hazrat Bilal (Director Administration).
“We are proud to take this oath, reaffirming our commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability,” said Mr. Zia Ur Rahman, Captain of the Green Youth Movement Club. “As young leaders, we recognize the importance of taking action to protect our planet, and we are dedicated to inspiring others to join us in this mission.”
During the ceremony, club members took an oath to:
Protect and preserve natural resources, promote sustainable practices, support eco-friendly initiatives and educate and inspire others to join the environmental movement.
The Green Youth Movement Club has been actively engaged in various environmental initiatives, including tree planting, clean-up drives, and eco-awareness campaigns.
“We believe that every small action counts, and collective efforts can lead to significant positive change,” added Prof. Dr. Hazrat Bilal. “We invite everyone to join us in this journey towards a more sustainable future.”
The focal person in his remarks thanked the Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, for his endeavor support towards students’ facilitation programs launched at University of Swat.
