Fee Support Letters Distributed Among Flood-Affected Students at University of Swat
Swat, December 03, 2025:
A dignified ceremony was held today at the University of Swat for the distribution of Fee Support Letters for Fall Semester 2025 among 50 deserving students affected by the recent floods. The initiative was jointly undertaken by the University of Swat and the Kohatian Foundation (KF) to support students facing financial hardships due to flood-related losses.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Dr. Tariq Khan (Representative, Kohatian Foundation) and the Honourable Vice Chancellor, University of Swat, Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher. Also present on the occasion were Dr. Arshad Ali Khan (Treasurer, UoS), Prof. Dr. Hazrat Bilal (Director SMC), Prof. Dr. Umar Hayat (Director, Financial Aid Office), Registrar Fayyaz Ahmad Khan, and Director IT Hamdullah Younas.
While addressing the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher highly appreciated the Kohatian Foundation for its generous support and valuable contribution towards the welfare of students and the uplift of the region after the devastating floods of July 2025. He stated that such partnerships play a critical role in ensuring that deserving students are not deprived of education due to financial constraints.
Dr. Tariq Khan encouraged the students to remain steadfast in their academic pursuits and reaffirmed the Kohatian Foundation’s commitment to extending support to deserving students whenever possible.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for the success of the students and continued collaboration between the University of Swat and Kohatian Foundation for the betterment of education and student welfare.
