



The 14th Meeting of the Academic Council of the University of Swat was held today under the chairmanship of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher. The meeting was attended by senior academic and administrative leadership, including deans and faculty heads.
Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, known for his visionary leadership and dynamic guidance, emphasized the importance of academic innovation and administrative reforms to align the University with modern educational trends. The Academic Council deliberated on several important agenda items, including:
- Approval of curriculum changes for LL.B. programs under the Faculty of Religious and Legal Studies.
- Implementation of “Each One Teaches One (EOTO)” initiative under the Prime Minister’s National Literacy Drive.
- Launch of new BS programs in English and Computer Science at the Women Campus.
- Adoption of internship guidelines to enhance student employability and industry linkages.
- Approval of a revised academic transcript format for lateral entry students (Session 2023-25 and onwards).
During the proceedings, Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher reiterated his unwavering commitment to providing quality higher education, while also focusing on innovation, industry-academia linkages, and community development.
