Students of 8th Semester, Department of Law and Sharia, University of Swat, during their visit to the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Federal Shariat Court
The Department of Law and Sharia at the University of Swat organized an enriching educational trip for 8th-semester students to the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Federal Shariat Court in Islamabad under the supervision of Assistant Professor Amjad Hilal. This visit, held on dated 26th and 27th was a part of the department’s commitment to providing practical exposure to aspiring legal professionals.
During the visit, the students observed live court proceedings at the Supreme Court of Pakistan, gaining invaluable insights into the judicial process and the dynamics of legal arguments presented by senior advocates. The visit to the Federal Shariat Court offered them an understanding of the court’s unique role in interpreting and implementing Islamic law within Pakistan’s legal framework.
This visit aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world practice, empowering students with practical insights and inspiring them to excel in their future legal careers.
