10th Senate Meeting of the University of Swat – May 19, 2025
The 10th meeting of the Senate, University of Swat, was held on May 19, 2025, at the CM Secretariat, Peshawar, chaired by the Honorable Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Ali Amin Gandapur. The meeting approved University of Swat Strategic Plan 2024–2030, Annual Reports for the years 2018, 2019, 2020–21, 2022–23, and 2023–24 and also considered and endorsed the proposed University of Swat Statutes, 2024.
The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, for successfully completing the construction of Phase-I of the university and expressed his commitment to visiting the University of Swat in the near future. The Chief Minister promised for increasing scholarship slots for the students of the University of Swat while also announced a special quota for University of Swat graduates under the Ehsas Rozgar Scheme of the Provincial Government. Additionally, he directed the strengthening of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management at the University of Swat while also assured full financial support to the University of swat for the establishment of auditorium, hostels and other facilities for the students at the University of Swat.
The Vice Chancellor on behalf of the faculty, staff, and students extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Honorable Chief Minister and appreciated his sincerity towards the area of District Swat and its people.
