University of Swat was established for providing higher education to the people of Swat Valley specifically and the whole of the country generally.

University of Swat was established in July 2010. Since its establishment the university has made tremendous progress in terms of academics, research and physical infrastructure. Starting with only seven disciplines in 2010, currently the university offers admissions in more than 28 academic disciplines. The university has a strong work ethic and shares common vision and values as a great team.
