Mingora (Press Release) The Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr. Geoffrey Shaw visited University of Swat along with other distinguished delegates from Australian High Commission and UNDP. Australian High Commissiner met with group of students from Psychology department and Media and Communication studies department who attended the capacity building activity under the project of UNDP “Da Khwaindo Ghag”. Students presented thier projects and discuss the output of the capacity building activity. The project “Da khwaindo Ghag” is funded by Australian Government is executed by UNDP program “School of Leadership Foundation (SOLF). MoU with SOLF for the said project was signed this year through ORIC, University of Swat.

Earlier the distinguished guests of AHC and UNDP were received by the Secretary HED Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along with Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Jamal Khan, Registrar Mehboob Ur Rehman and other senior faculty members of University of Swat.

During visit the delegates also planted trees in the newly constructed Central Library at main campus at Charbagh. On this occasion the AHC thanked the University of Swat management for their warm welcome and hospitality. The Vice Chancellor University of Swat thanked the distinguished guests for their visit to University of Swat.
