No other investment yields as great a return as the investment in education because an educated workforce is the foundation of every community and future of every economy. Education promotes character building and teaches students how to become good citizens so that they can play their due role in nation building. Education is not just for a privileged few but for everyone and hence a fundamental human right. Keeping in mind the importance of higher education, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is quite forthcoming to impart quality education to the students of universities.
It is a well-known fact that youth of the country is considered as an incredible asset and fortunately large portion of our national population consists of youth. Through quality education higher education, we can capitalize upon the aster of youth and build their capacity with regard to academics and research to turn the fortune in our favour and embark upon it for the desired level of prosperity.
I am delighted to know that the University of Swat is truly committed to provide opportunities of character building and academic excellence to students and disseminate knowledge which is not only useful to the individual self of students but also for national development.
