Introduction:
Institute of Forest Sciences in University of Swat was established in 2014 with the aim to focus on the sustainable management and promotion of Forests conservation for their biological diversity, ecological, recreational, scientific and educational values and quality water production functions for the greater good of the people of Pakistan and the world at large. This department will provide quality education with relevance by acquiring high qualified staff and state of the art equipment and facilities in the field of forestry.
