Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, Vice Chancellor University of Swat, recognizes Academic Excellence through “Roshan Need-Based Scholarships”
The University of Swat continues to foster educational opportunities and recognize exceptional academic achievements as Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, Vice Chancellor of the University, presented “Roshan Need-Based Scholarships” to deserving students from the Department of Sharia and Law. The ceremony, held today celebrated the dedication and commitment of five outstanding students who were awarded scholarships covering their tuition fees for two semesters. These scholarships, designed to alleviate financial burdens and encourage academic pursuit, will be extended throughout the students’ five-year journey in the BS Law and Sharia degree program.
The “Roshan Need-Based Scholarships” initiative was initiated by Assistant Professor Mr. Amjad Hilal from the Department of Law and Sharia. The program, generously funded by his father Dr. Ahmad Hilal, currently residing in the United States of America, underscores the significance of community collaboration in advancing education. Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher commended the visionary effort of Mr. Amjad Hilal and Dr. Ahmad Hilal, emphasizing the transformative impact of such scholarships on the recipients’ educational pursuits.
