Muhammad Imad Khan Completed his PhD

Muhammad Imad Khan, lecturer at the university of Swat has completed his doctoral degree in Economics from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM), by successfully defending his thesis.
He did his research work under the supervision of Chairman, Department of Economics, Dr. Javed Iqbal. While the thesis was co-supervised by professor Zahoor Ul Haq, Vice Chancellor, AWKUM. The title of the thesis is “How important are the green attributes for the hotel industry in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? A perspective of the hotels’ owners and users”.
During the PhD, Imad Khan published several research articles as well as presented his research in two international conferences.
His thesis was evaluated by the professors in two foreign universities of Canada and Malaysia and one local examiner from institute of management studies (IM Sciences), Peshawar.
Professor Munir Khattak, from agriculture university Peshawar and professor Zahoor from IM Sciences attended the public defence as external examiners. A large number of academicians participated in the public defence of the thesis and termed it a great contribution in the field of environmental economics and tourism economics.
