One day seminar was arranged by Centre for Earth and Space Sciences,University of swat on Topic of Remote sending and Gis Application in Geosciences with collaboration of NCEG Peshawar University. The crux of the seminar was to utilise the maximum capacity of GIS and Remote Sensing software to mark several prone area I.e land sliding area, Earth quake Zone,Flood plain, and so many other area which are easily suciptible to natural disasters to minimise human life fatalities. Utilisation of such kind tools will help us to use enormous amount of data without paying any penny and will also save our precious time to make several traverse in couple of hours of an area not possible to cover it several in weeks.
Facilitation of our students was the main objective to develop links with the mother institution University of Peshawar and use their labs and expertise to train our youngsters for the upcoming era.
