Awareness Seminar regarding Corona virus held at University of Swat
The speakers delivered lectures on its infection, prevention and control
Centre for Biotechnology and Microbiology (CBM), University of Swat organized Awareness Seminar on “Corona Virus infection, its prevention and Control’’. The seminar was held at Swat Regency Hotel where the Vice Chancellor, University of Swat, Professor, Dr. Muhammad Jamal Khan was the Chief Guest. Prominent amongst other participants were Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, Dean Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Swat. The Resource persons/Speakers for this program were Prof. Dr. Jafar Khan, Director CBM, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Khan, Former Chief Executive and Principal, Saidu Medical College, Swat, and Dr.Yasir Wahid, Associate Professor, Foundation University Islamabad. The Resource persons shared their knowledge and experiences about the current epidemic of Coronavirus infection and how this virus could be controlled.The seminar was attended by students, faculty members and general public. The participants had a very fruitful discussion and scientific interaction with the guest speakers. The seminar was very beneficial and the knowledge gained would have a very positive impact on the society in general and scientific community in particular.
