As part of Industrial Link initiative, the students of Institute of Cultural Heritage Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Swat have visited Marriott Hotel Islamabad and Archaeological Sites of Taxila on 23rdand 24thNovember 2019. Faculty members including Mr. Farhad Nazir and Dr. Zarawar Khan accompanied the students during the visit. The Human Resource Department and Training Department of Marriott Hotel arranged training and orientation session for the students of ICHTHM. Mr. Rashid (Training Manager) and Ms. Sabeen Aslam (Human Resource Manager) presented in the session and appreciated the role of ICHTHM in academically preparing the graduates to progress in the hospitality industry. They also invited the students to compete for internship and job positions at Marriott Hotel Islamabad. The visit ended with the thanks by the students and faculty members in regard of Hon VC Prof Dr. Muhammad Jamal Khan, Registrar Mr. Mahboob Ur Rahman and Mr. Asif Saud, for making possible this field visit to global leading hospitality chain and archaeological sites of Taxila.
