Dr. Kifayatullah Khan is Research Professor (assistant) at the Department of Environmental and Conservation Sciences, University of Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Pakistan. He received his PhD in the discipline of Environmental Sciences (Environmental Toxicology) from the University of Peshawar as a TWAS-CAS Fellow (2013). Recently in 2017, he did his Postdoctoral research as a fellow of the President’s International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI) at the Research Centre for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China. As an active environmental ecologist, he has published good papers in the international peer reviewed journals such as, Environment International, Environmental Pollution, Food and Chemical Toxicology, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, Journal of Environmental Sciences, Science of the Total Environment, Chemosphere, International Journal of phytoremediation, Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology, Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering, Clean-Air, Soil and Water, Water Science and Technology, Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, Earth Science & Climatic Change, LAMBERT, Journal of Postgraduate Medical Institute (Peshawar – Pakistan (JPMI) etc. His research interests are briefly focusing on; Ecological health impacts and risk assessment of conventional and emerging pollutants, urban ecological planning and assessment, and environmental management and policy.
