Dr. Kifayatullah Khan of the DE&CS has successfully completed the HUC-ICIMOD Springshed management training at Kathmandu, Nepal

Dr. Kifayatullah Kha of the DE&CS  has published his 1st, 2019 research article

Dr. Kifayatullah Khan, Research Professor (assistant)/In-Charge, Department of Environmental and Conservation Sciences (DE&CS) has published his 1st, 2019 research article “Occurrence, sources and health risk of polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) in soil, water and sediment from a drinking water source area. Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety 174, 208–217. As an active environmental ecologist, he would be probably the first in the University of Swat since 2013 to cross the 100 Impact Factor by published more than 30 articles in the international peer reviewed journals such as, Environment International, Environmental Pollution, Food and Chemical Toxicology, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, Journal of Environmental Sciences, Science of the Total Environment, Chemosphere, International Journal of phytoremediation, Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology, Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering, Clean-Air, Soil and Water, Water Science and Technology, Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, Earth Science & Climatic Change and LAMBERT etc. with major research interests focusing on; Ecological health impacts and risk assessment of conventional and emerging pollutants, Water resource management, Climate change, Urban ecological planning and assessment, and Environmental management and policy. with major research interests focusing on; Ecological health impacts and risk assessment of conventional and emerging pollutants, water resource management, urban ecological planning and assessment, and environmental management and policy.

Seminar on Environmental Degradation

Department of Environmental and Conservation Sciences (DE&CS), University of Swat on mutual collaboration with Pak-Army 2-Field Regiment Artillery Operation area (Swat) had successfully organized a seminar on Environmental Degradation held at Afzal Khan Lala Degree College Matta Swat on December 18, 2018. The Session was Chaired by Professor Dr.Jamal Khattak, Vice Chancellor, University of swat;where the panel Dr. Kifayatullah Khan (Assistant Professor/In-charge), Mr. Muhamad Ayaz (lecturer) Department of Environmental & Conservation Sciences, and Dr Adnan, Assistant professor (Institute of Chemical Sciences) have sharedtheir viewsand experiences on the significance, root causes and remediations of Environmental Degradation in District Swat, Pakistan. Dr. Kifayatullah Khan of the DE&CS has completed his 1st Postdoctoral research.
